CBS Evening News: "Harvest of Shame" Revisited

The last TV broadcast by legendary journalist Edward R. Murrow, Harvest of Shame aired the day after Thanksgiving in 1960. Filmed in part in Immokalee, the poignant expose revealed to the nation the brutal reality facing farmworkers in the South. Fifty years later, CBS returned to Immokalee to report on conditions in the fields and the Campaign for Fair Food's efforts to end Florida's harvest of shame once and for all.
